PTA is partnering with Canvas Kids for a winter painting event that will take place on campus on December 15th/16th. Remote learners who wish to participate may pick up complete kids during school hours December 15th-17th and after school on December 17th from 5PM to 6PM. Online video instructions will be posted to Seesaw and Google Classroom for students to complete their paintings at home. Kits cost $10 each. Monday, November 16th is Picture Retake Day for new students, remote students, and general retakes. Remote parents, please check your child's digital classroom for sign-up information. If you do not wish to take pictures on campus, please use the link provided by your child's teacher to submit a headshot of your student to be featured in the 2020-2021 FNE Yearbook.
As we prepare to begin the second quarter on Monday, October 19th, many students have selected a change in learning options. This means we will have nearly 70% of our FNE students on campus, and some procedures and classes will change to accommodate the growing number of students. We want to ensure that students and staff have a successful end to the fall semester. October 13th will be Pink Out Day at FNE in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We encourage everyone to wear PINK on that Tuesday in honor of those who have fought and are fighting the brave fight against breast cancer.
Join us online on Wednesday, September 30th for FNE’s first Virtual Family Engagement Day, celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month. Lessons and activities will take about 20-30 minutes. Teachers will be in contact with parents if additional supplies are needed at home for any of the grade level activities.
