Hello FNE families I will be starting my fourth year her at FNE and I can't wait. This is a great place to be and the people here are wonderful. A little bit about me. I have 26 years experience in education. I spent eighteen years as an elementary teacher and four as a counselor at Somerset ISD. For the past three I have been here at Floresville ISD. I received my  bachelor degree from Schreiner University and then my masters in counseling from Texas A&M Kingsville. I have been married for 27 years and have one daughter who is beginning who second year in college. This year I will be working with students Capturing Kids Hearts https://www.capturingkidshearts.org/. This helps our students have a positive mindset along with teaching them how to handle different situations they may face. Also recently Floresville North Elementary was recognized as a National school for Capturing Kids Hearts. We will also be using this curriculum to build good character for our students to give them the tools to become productive adults. To achieve this I will be speaking to students in classroom presentations as needed or the first part of PE. I can also do group and individual counseling on different topics. We want our students to feel safe here at FNE and have a positive experience so they can learn and do their best.
