Biography

I have been employed by FISD since 2007 when I began my teaching career as an English and Speech teacher at Floresville High School.  While there, I also taught Creative Writing and served as the Instructional Coach for two years.

I graduated from The University of Southern California with a degree in Journalism before returning home to Texas where I earned my teaching certificate. I received my Master’s degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. Fight On, Trojans! Go Cardinals!

This will be my fifth year as an administrator at FNES, and I am excited to take on the role of principal!  I love to see the smiling faces of little ones as they learn and grow each day.  In all I do each day, I always try to place kids first.  This is true at home as well where my six-year-old daughter, Braelynn, rules the roost, including over the newest addition to the family, one-year-old Cazden.  My husband, Robert, who is a Floresville graduate, teaches PE and coaches football and basketball at the high school.  We are proud to be a part of the Floresville community and blessed to work alongside the wonderful staff and students at Floresville North Elementary.
