South and North elementary schools' principals presented at the TCEA Elementary Technology Conference in Galveston on June 13. Heather Brooks and Monica Schlueter showcased FISD's implementation of blended learning in their presentation, "Bullseye! Does Your Blended Learning Model Hit the Rigor Target?" Mrs. Brooks and Dr. Schlueter shared how blended learning classrooms utilized personalized learning pathways that led to grade-level mastery and beyond.

In order to earn their Citizens Badge, the girl scouts witness and participate in civil engagement activities that affect them and their community.
